Court releases jury questionnaire for Murray's trial

Los Angeles Superior Court released a copy of the  jury questionnaire  in Murray's trial. The questionnaire is made by thirty-three pages and one hundred and thirteen questions.

Among the questions:

-- Over the past several years, have you followed any publicized cases? (e.g., OJ Simpson, Robert Blake, Phil Spector, Casey Anthony, etc).

-- Have you accessed or posted any blogs concerning Michael Jackson or Conrad Murray?

-- What Internet sites or blogs, if any do you visit?

-- (Do you think) Celebrities and high-profile people feel they are entitled to act however they please?

-- (Do you think) Celebrities and high-profile people in Los Angeles get away with crimes because of their status?

-- Has your life or the life of anyone close to you ever been affected by the behavior of someone who had a drug (prescription or other) or alcohol addiction?

-- Did you ever watch This Is It?

-- Have you ever considered yourself a fan of Michael Jackson or the Jackson family?

-- Have you ever undergone a medical procedure that required an anesthetic?

Jurors were also asked if they knew about any of 27 medications, including Propofol, the powerful anesthetic main cause of the death and Lorazepam, a sedative also found to have contributed.

Besides, they were asked if they had particularly positive or negative experiences with doctors.

The questionnaire also lists potential witnesses to see if prospective jurors know any of them. The witnesses include Janet Jackson, Jermaine, Joe, La Toya, Katherine, Paris, Prince, Blanket, Randy, Marlon, Tito and Rebbie.

In the cover letter to the questionnaire, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor instructed potential jurors to “not discuss the questionnaire or your answers with anyone else, including your family, friend or fellow jurors.”

He went on to advise them that their answers are considered a statement under oath and are signed under “penalty of perjury.”

Potential jurors will return in court to be in-person questioned on September 23.
