A set of three collaborations recorded by Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury may be set for release in the near future. The tracks were all recorded in the early 1980s and according to Queen's Roger Taylor, the band is working to actualize them.

"We are now working on some never before released songs that Freddie made with Michael in the early-'80s," Taylor tells NME. "I'm not allowed to say too much about it, but they sound incredible."

The three tracks are titled "State of Shock," "Victory" and "There Must Be More To Life Than This." The first track of the three was originally recorded by Jackson and Mercury as a demo for a project with the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger. The other two tracks were set for release as part of a 2002 collection that was later shelved.

There is no word thus far on a release date for the collection.
