Michael Jackson's much-loved silk pajamas and a mahogany bed at Jackson's former Ireland Estate will go to auction next month, said Damien Matthews of Matthews Auction Rooms on Wednesday.

The items were used by Jackson while he lived at the Coolatore mansion, near the rural Irish town of Moate, with his three children and their tutor.
The pajamas, with an estimated value of $5,000 to $8,000, were given to the current property owners before Jackson left, Matthews said.
The four-poster carved mahogany bed could fetch $10,000 to $17,000.

Matthews said Jackson loved the solitude of the rural manor, as he lived there with no security or entourage.
Other items belonging to him from his time at Cooltore House, in the midlands of Ireland, will also be sold.
Michael Jackson lived a beautiful period in Ireland. He also planned to buy an Irish retreat – Bishopstown House, not far from where he recorded some sixty songs at Grouse Lodge recording studios.
Auctioneer Damien Matthews said the sale of many contents of Cooltore House on November 6th is being held on behalf of the owners and other interested parties.
“The link with Michael Jackson is bound to arouse interest from all over the world.
Michael said of Cooltore House when leaving: ‘This is the only place we’ve ever felt like a real family.’ He lived there with no security or entourage, just his three children and their tutor.
"This is the only place we've ever felt like a real family," Jackson is reported to have told the owners before he left.
Matthews said the homeowners are selling the items and about 600 other antiques to raise money to refurbish the interior of the mansion.
The auction is being held at the manor November 6.
