San Antonio included on Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour

Officials with AT&T Center say Cirque Du Soleil’s Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour will make a stop at the home of the San Antonio Spurs on June 23, 2012.

 

 

The production, which is tied to the Estate of Michael Jackson, will incorporate Cirque du Soleil performances.

Promoters say it will give fans a “unique view into the spirit, passion and heart of the artistic genius who forever transformed global pop culture”.

A riveting fusion of visuals, dance, music and fantasy that immerses audiences in Michael’s creative world and literally turns his signature moves upside down, Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour unfolds Michael Jackson’s artistry before the eyes of the audience. Aimed at lifelong fans as well as those experiencing Michael’s creative genius for the first time, the show captures the essence, soul and inspiration of the King of Pop, celebrating a legacy that continues to transcend generations.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Monday and are now in pre-sales.

The price will range between $50 and $250.

The tour is scheduled to open October 2 in Canada, on November 9 in Seattle, in Houston on February 10 and in Austin on June 15.
